Instructions – How to Embed Google Street View on Your Website

Complete Step-by-Step Guide

AMethod A: Directly from Google Maps

Step 1: Find your location

Go to Google Maps and search for your business. Click on the profile photo or Street View thumbnail to enter 360° mode.

Step 2: Set the perfect view

Rotate and move the view until you find the exact frame you want to show. This is exactly what users will see.

Step 3: Get the code

Click menu (three dots) > 'Share or embed map' > 'Embed a map' tab. Choose size and click 'COPY HTML'.

BMethod B: Responsive Code (Recommended)

To make the tour look good on all devices, use this ready-made code:

HTML
<div style="position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%;">
  <iframe
    src="LINK_DO_TWOJEJ_MAPY"
    style="position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; border: 0;"
    allowfullscreen=""
    loading="lazy"
    referrerpolicy="no-referrer-when-downgrade">
  </iframe>
</div>

Troubleshooting

  • If the map doesn't show, check if you copied the entire iframe code.
  • Make sure you paste the code in HTML/Code mode in your website editor.
  • The link inside src="..." must come directly from Google Maps.
